Dr. Michele Crohin comes from a family of healthcare workers and early on found dentistry a beautiful mix of art and science. Her passion for periodontics continues with new advancements that allow her to help her patients keep their teeth for a lifetime or get realistic replacements when teeth are lost.

Dr. Crohin graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM) in 1998. There she received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and a certificate of General Practice Residency (at Brigham and Women's Hospital). In 2001 she earned a Masters of Medical Sciences (MMSC) and completed her periodontal training at HSDM.

Dr. Crohin is a specialist in periodontics, providing various non-surgical and surgical approaches to treating gum disease, as well as dental implant placement, and bone and gum grafts. She gladly welcomes new patients for periodontal or implant consultation and treatment.

Dr. Crohin has been board certified in periodontics since 2005 and most recently re-certified in 2020. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, Northshore Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontology, and Harvard Odontological Society.

In addition to treating patient, Dr. Crohin does medical research as well, working on clinical trials for local delivery of antibiotic to treat periodontal disease. She also is the co-author of the Rapid Reference to Clinical Dentistry, Rapid Reference to Implant dentistry; Patient Instruction System.

In her spare time she likes to ski, garden, swim, cook and travel with her family.
