Saba Jahanbin had always known that she wanted to be a healthcare provider of some sort, but it wasn’t until her time at University of Maryland that she realized she wanted to be a dental hygienist. Witnessing first-hand the care and compassion offered by the hygienists she was shadowing, she developed a passion to follow their example.
Saba was able to bring this passion with her to Osorio Dental Group in 2019, after attaining her bachelor’s degree in biology at UMD and dental hygiene training at Forsyth. She finds working as a dental hygienist highly rewarding due to the active role she has in helping patients develop and maintain a healthy smile. One of her greatest joys comes from seeing patients’ oral health improve due to her handiwork and the education she offers.
In addition to her regular hygiene training, Saba is trained in local anesthesia and continues her education through her membership with the ADHA. She also speaks fluent Farsi.
When she isn’t at work, Saba likes to stay active. She enjoys rock climbing, traveling, cooking, and spending time with the people she cares most about.
